1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions: "Mudan", "we", "us", or "our" refers to Mudan, based at No. 85, Nankan Road Sec. 3, Luzhu District, Taoyuan 338, Taiwan. "Client", "you", or "your" refers to any individual who books, enquires about, or uses Mudan's services. "Service" refers to the home visit makeup artistry sessions offered by Mudan, including the Studio Apartment Session, Wine Tasting Look, and Retirement Celebration Package. "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions together with any booking confirmation.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry through our website, booking a session by phone or email, or proceeding with payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. These Terms apply to all Mudan services. You must be at least 18 years of age to book a session.

3. Service Description

Mudan provides professional makeup artistry at the client's chosen location within Taoyuan City. Services are available by appointment only. Availability is subject to scheduling, and sessions are confirmed upon receipt of booking confirmation from Mudan. Travel within Taoyuan City is included in the listed service price. For locations outside Taoyuan City, additional travel arrangements will be discussed at the time of booking.

4. Booking and Confirmation

All bookings are made by enquiry through the contact form, email, or phone. A session is considered confirmed only when Mudan has provided written or verbal confirmation of the date, time, location, and service. Mudan reserves the right to decline bookings at its discretion.

5. Payment Terms

Session fees are as listed on the Mudan website: Studio Apartment Session at NT$1,500; Wine Tasting Look at NT$4,500; Retirement Celebration Package at NT$14,000. Payment methods and timing will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation. All prices are in New Taiwan Dollar (NT$). Mudan does not apply hidden fees. Any variation in scope discussed after initial booking confirmation will be agreed in writing before the service is delivered.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a confirmed session will not incur a cancellation fee.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of a confirmed session may be subject to a partial fee, as communicated at the time of booking.
• For the Retirement Celebration Package, cancellations of the practice session should be communicated at least 24 hours in advance.
• Mudan reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to circumstances beyond our control, with prompt notification to the client.

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

• Provide a clean, reasonably accessible surface and space for the artist to work
• Disclose any known skin sensitivities, allergies, or conditions relevant to makeup application before the session begins
• Arrive or be present at the agreed location at the confirmed session time
• Treat the artist with respect throughout the session

Mudan is not liable for any reactions arising from undisclosed skin conditions or allergies where the client failed to inform the artist prior to the session.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Mudan website, including text, images, and design, is owned by or licensed to Mudan. It may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without written permission. Clients who share session photographs on social media are encouraged to credit Mudan where applicable but are not obligated to do so.

9. Photography and Privacy

Mudan does not photograph clients or share session images without explicit written consent. Where consent is given, images may be used for portfolio or promotional purposes. Clients may withdraw consent at any time by contacting [email protected].

10. Disclaimers

Services are provided in good faith by trained professionals. Mudan does not make any specific outcome guarantees, as individual results depend on factors including skin type, occasion conditions, and personal preference. Results discussed during consultation represent intended outcomes, not contractual promises.

11. Limitation of Liability

Mudan's liability to any client shall not exceed the total fee paid for the session giving rise to any claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, or liability that cannot be excluded under Taiwan law.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any dispute arising from these Terms or the services provided will first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to the courts of Taiwan with jurisdiction over Taoyuan.

13. Changes to These Terms

Mudan may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Where changes are material, we will endeavor to notify clients by email where contact details are held.
